I finished my first chaos warhound today! yay! :-)
The primer coat coat was black on the fur and skin, then I used a grey base coat. I then dry brushed in Dheneb stone which is off grey color. I let it set then applied fortress grey which is a even lighter color to the fur. I finally applies the dry brushing technique with snakebite leather to the fur. The skin was simple, dark brown, darker flesh, beastial brown and light brown for highlights.

Chaos Chieftain and Chaos Condemned. The condemned will be getting a chain skirt so to speak, I bought some green stuff so I'll be modeling him, the Chieftain will be getting a chainmail shirt. I used the chaos warhounds horns on the condemned's back and one on the human arm. It signifies he's changing from the chaos magic, also I gave him a beast man head.

Woow that dog looks really good. A mean lookin' beasty. Also, that arm is huge! Awesome, totally chaosy.
How'd you paint the dog's skin? (edit: actually reading posts is good!)
Criticism: Mold lines! God damn, son! Buy a file and clean your models up. Your chieftain and condemned both have major mold lines all over the arms and weapons (I can' the rest of the model). That stuff will show through the paint and really not look good! Get some files!

Yeah, I bought some a few days ago actually at Lowes. I cleaned the lines up. The large chaos spawn arm took awhile to file down.

Another thing I think you may want to consider more is color scheme. You may not feel this way, but I think it adds an attractive element of cohesiveness to a warband when they have a common color scheme. I like what you've got going with the chaos hound; brown and gray with small bright red areas. It works well for a Chaos Undivided themed warband.

More puppies, now that I've learned how to follow a color scheme I'm doing it with the undivided band. The dwarf band I'm just going to touch up.
